We are very very sorry to hear the very sad news of Sean's passing. Sincere Condolences especially to Marion, Padraic, Declan, Jacqueline, Bridget and Maria. Like others we have so many really happy memories of Sean and his team building walls and terraces at our home. Sincere condolences to Marian, Padraic, Declan, and Jacqueline on Sean's passing from this wonderful world, which he enjoyed to the fullest.

Sean may have left us, but the indelible memories of him will live on for years to come.

I remember Sean well as a quiet, shy teenager, travelling to Lacken on his red Honda 50 over 55 years ago. He was fortunate to marry into the Gallagher family, where Jack and his sons helped mould him into the larger-than-life, confident, gregarious character he became. The Lacken lads he adored—especially the Carrolls and Jim McGuire— who put the finishing touches on him, with at least one or two of them often part of his entourage on social outings.

Sean was an Irish cultural icon—always happy, friendly, and engaging. His presence was invigorating. And of course, after a sip or three, the banter and jesting would begin—only those who could hold their own could truly participate.

Sean, thank you again for the beautiful, energetic, and quintessentially Irish experiences. R.I.P
