R.I.P. Sean, I am shocked and saddened at the passing of a terrific friend and neighbour Sean Forde, a gentleman, inoffensive, friendly, he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. Deepest Sympathy to Ann and children and the extended Forde Family and his many friends.

Very sorry to hear of Seán’s passing. A great hurling man who gave up so much of his time to young hurlers in Edenderry. You always remember people who were good to you when you were young. Deepest sympathy to his family.
Condolences on Sean’s passing , he was a great Gael and instrumental in keeping hurling going in the Town. Much enjoyment was had on Sunday mornings and Wednesday night in the field hitting the small ball. Sean played for over 30 years and was also a selector at various times May he Rest in Peace.

We were saddened to hear of Seán’s passing, He was a lovely, quiet and inoffensive man.
I’ve known Seán most of my life, from my late sister Joan married into his family and through our time working in the shoe factory. Seán was a proud Gael, who gave so much to hurling in Edenderry. He was a regular sight keeping the streets of Edenderry in order during his time with OCC, and more recently enjoying his retirement wheeling his grandchild in their buggy.

I’ve known Seán most of my life, from my late sister Joan married into his family and through our time working in the shoe factory. Seán was a proud Gael, who gave so much to hurling in Edenderry.
