So sorry to hear about Georgie's death. A real GAA/Hurling man - a gentleman - an honour and a privilege to have known him.
May he rest in peace. Sincere sympathy to his family.

A very good man has died and left a space that could never be filled again in this world. His family now grieving his loss can find some comfort in knowing that,he was a much valued person by most of us who knew him.

So sad to hear the news of Georgie 's passing. I feel privileged to have had the chance to have met him and been in his company. A real gentleman in every way. Touched many of us outside of Kilkenny and we were all the more enthused with our love of the game as a result. Rest in peace.

He was one of God's finest example 0f true Christian living. May Georgie's gentle soul now Rest in Peace safe in the company of Jesus.

Georgie, a gentleman, a wonderful player and coach, a legend in the G.A.A. in Kilkenny and beyond,and a deeply devout christian man, remembering the many monday nights in ST Fiacres church, sitting in his usual place just inside the door, may his gentle soul rest in peace, and sincere condolences to his wife and family. May he rest in peace forever.
