I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Seán. I had the great privilege of serving alongside Seán on the board of the credit union, and I will always remember him as a truly lovely gentleman, kind, generous, and full of wisdom. He was incredibly supportive and giving of his time, especially when it came to mentoring me. His gentle guidance and warm presence made a lasting impression, and I will always be grateful for it.

Sean thought us woodwork, drawing and construction in Nobber in the 90’s. He was very patient and ALWAYS FAIR, especially to a class of raucous teenage boys who may not have had education and good behaviour foremost in their thoughts.

I spent many years volunteering with Seán at Tara & District Credit Union where he served as both a Board Member and Member of Board Oversight. He was a wealth of knowledge and wisdom in the many meetings we attended together. I will miss both his counsel and company.
