Very sorry to hear of Sean’s passing and sincere condolences to May and all the Hamilton family. I will forever remember the great evening of music and memories of Sean’s time in DCC, and especially his favourite photograph of him as a 16 year old sailing into Norfolk, Virginia. A real gentle man. May he rest in peace.

Condolences to all of Sean's family,
I sailed with Sean on the Irish Pine in 1963, while we were in New York we paid a visit to Jack Dempsey's restaurant on Broadway, we met and shook hands with the "Manassa Mauler" and had a few words with him.
That restaurant closed in 1974.
We nearly missed the ship that night, she was tied up on pier 6 Brooklyn a long way from Broadway in Manhatten, we were only 6 hours late getting back.
Sean was a great shipmate.
