I am so shocked and sad to just hear of Sean’s death. He was one of a kind!
Sincere sympathy to Eoin, Yvonne, Eric, Frankie, Lockie, his brothers, sisters, Donal, Hubert and extended Healy & McCormack Families. I will miss his witty texts and frequent up-dates on his very proud family. Attracta and I were great friends growing up in Strokestown and I know after over 27 years apart Sean and her are happily united again. They will shine brightly and guide you all everyday. Rest in peace Sean 🙏

I am devastated to hear that Sean has passed. He was passionate about his community and was a key member of our team during the 2020 General Election. I loved our coffee catch ups in the Chatty Fox. He was a true gentleman, and it was an honour to know him. Rest in peace.

Very sad to learn this news. Sean had a mischievous outlook as a fellow front row forward and Brittas Bay teenager. Yet for those lucky enough to call him friend, we always had his caring, thoughtful support. Never more clearly demonstrated than this July, when, after 40 years of going our own ways, Sean was present at my Mum's funeral.

Farewell to my great friend, will miss our occasional breakfasts in The Buglers!
I always had the impression that if ever I needed help with anything it would be graciously given by Sean.

So shocked and sad having seen Sean so recently walk by my house . He was a great neighbour and friend to many people in Moyville . I was lucky to have known him especially over the last decade . I was unable to attend funeral but watched it online and you did him so proud . RIP

My heartfelt condolences to the Healy family for the passing of their lovely dad Sean. He was such a gentleman and was always full of chat. I remember that he continued to help with the Children's Christmas party in IDB even when his kids no longer believed. It was lovely to meet him every year at the Retirees Christmas party. He will be truly missed. RIP Sean.

Sean's sudden passing is all the more shocking, given his vibrancy, engagement and laughter at the Bord Bainne/IDB retirees lunch on December 5th. I am grateful for the great times shared with Sean, and Attracta, as part of the BB social club to which Sean was central. Always great craic in work and out. My sympathies to Dec, Ailbhe, Emer, and his many friends, whom Sean drew into the IDB social club. To Eoin, Yvonne and Eric, who we met annually as Sean proudly escorted them to the IDB family Xmas party and Gaiety Panto throughout their childhood, and later, I offer my sincere sympathies for this great loss. To the day he passed he was still our Captain of the School (1975), caring for his classmates as though it was yesterday. Rest in peace my friend.

I instantly warmed to Sean when I met him at a meeting of what became the International Group of Treasury Associations- an initiative which I believe was his. I regarded him as mine and others’ friend. Although we were geographically apart, I was devastated at his death.

I was so saddened to hear of Seán’s passing. He was a wonderful man who always welcomed me into your home throughout my childhood and friendship with Eric.

Seán had a way of making everyone smile - for me, especially on the sidelines at Éanna basketball or at Leicester Celtic football. He was a true friend to my dad and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
