We were staying in Westport when we heard of the tragic death of your beloved Sean. May perpetual light shine upon him and may his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God test in peace Amen. May God pour abundant strength and courage on the Hayes family to cope with their sad loss. xx

I am so terribly sorry for your loss, Seán was a true gentleman. He was so kind, caring, funny. He has been a great friend to my husband Brian since 2008 when Sean started college in Dún Laoghaire. He has been there when brians dad passed, he was a great support for Brian at that difficult time, and when we got married and when we had our daughter he has been there for it all. He was also adored by our daughter Rosabel. Sean made such an impression on us individually and as a family. He will be sorely missed by us all. We will be thinking of you all now and in the weeks to fallow.

To all of Seans family, I am so sorry to hear this news. Sean was unique and I will miss him so much. I shared so many great memories with him on his trips to Dublin.
