My deepest sympathy to Sean's family on the death of your Dad. We were classmates in Sexton St. CBS.
I last saw your Dad on the last day of our Leaving Cert Exam 1957 and often wondered what happened to most of that class, your dad included. I remember him as a good looking rather shy and friendly individual. Strange to discover he and family spent Summer hols in Ballyheigue. I and my family have been holidaying for over 50 years in the same place. Did I ever unknowingly meet or even saw him? I will never know, maybe its just as well because to me Sean has never aged, never grew old and is still the same young man of 18 years who wished each other good luck on a lovely summer day at the gates of Sexton St CBS school June 1957.
May Sean and your mother Peg rest in peace and may the good God comfort you inyour loss.
