Dear Bridie, Sinead and Maire we are so sorry for your loss. Sean was a great friend and someone I will miss dearly. I have many things in my life that I thank Sean for - most importantly for that first introduction 20 years ago to my wife! So many wonderful memories of growing up with Sean and indeed the Irwin family. May he rest in peace.

So sad to hear this news! Sean was an absolute gent. I always looked up to him as a young lad growing up in Knockvicar. The “Hoff” as I knew him was always full of life and was always kind and decent. May this absolute legend and good soul Rest in Peace. Love and peace to his family who he has left behind.

Sincere condolences. Sean was such a huge part of my summers growing up while visiting from England. And I’ll always remember fondly, our days fishing in his boat and just being silly. I’ll miss him very much. A wonderful man.
