Jane Alan and entire Rossiter family I have just learned of your great loss
John and I joined C& E around the same time in 1969 Our paths crossed many times thereafter especially during our time as Union reps I always found him very affable and always looked for a negotiated way out
He was a great source for All-Ireland tickets and without him I would have on many occasions been watching on TV

FEARLESS is a word that comes to mind as I reflect on the John Rossiter I knew at work and as a representative of his colleagues. Debates, there were many, points were exchanged with fervour if not fury, yet never a foul stroke was struck. May John rest easy and may his family be consoled by the high regard in which he is remembered.
