To Thoi, Noirin, Micheal, Lianna and all of Sean's family, I was so sad to hear of Sean's passing. I worked with Sean for a number of years in Kentz. Every conversation with Sean was entertaining and educational. He was a great work colleague, always willing to help anyone out. Even though he travelled widely he was a proud Cork man and spoke so fondly of it and his beloved family. May Sean rest in peace.

miss Sean more than words can describe, but as he used to regularly say himself - ‘It’s like Hotel California, you can check out….but you can never leave’

Sincere sympathy to the Lucey families, extended families, relations and close friends in the death of Sean. I was a year older than Sean going to School in Skibbeteen (St Patrick’s Boys NS & St Fachtnas High School), we had great times, fabulous memories and would travel to Underage GAA matches together. Sean was brilliant with one liners and I have very fond memories of these. My sincere apologies that I was unable to attend Sean’s bereavement ceremonies, however I will remember Sean in my prayers. May he Rest in Peace.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Thoi, Noirín, Micheál and Lianna, as well as to Mrs Lucey, Tadgh, Diarmuid, Micheal, Siobhan, Maura, and the extended Lucey family. Seán was a wonderful guy and a great schoolfriend of ours. We spent many happy hours together, both around the town and especially down in Tragumna. The long sunny afternoons we spent swimming down there during the 70s and early 80s are amongst our most treasured memories of growing up and Sean was very much part of that. We will always remember him with great fondness. He was the best of the best.
