Deepest condolences to Alice, Ailish and Shane from your cousin John. I wish I could be with you now, to pay my respects in person. I will do so at earliest opportunity. He is with Michelle and his mother and brother now. Words are a poor comfort, but they are all we have, at this distance. You can all be proud of a husband and father and friend who was an example to all of us. He was a humble man, with a heart of gold and a generosity of spirit and soul, like few I have ever known. Sean was a very quiet and unassuming man. But he had depths and character that are sadly all too lacking in the majority of the people we meet in life today. ,He was ever faithfull to family and friends, who were many and grateful to hold him so. He exemplified the best in us. He was generous, kind, selfless and true to his word in everything. He lived as he should. He seldom saw the faults in others and shared a smile or a kind word with everyone who crossed his path.
To me, he was always a gentle big-hearted giant, a true friend, who enriched every moment passed in his company. I miss him and always will. I am just one of so many who owe him thanks for who and what he was to us all. I will always hold you in my heart, Sean.
