I am so very saddened to learn of Sean's sudden passing. We were on Unit C together in Store St many moons ago and I always enjoyed walking the beat with him. He was such good company and a great Guard and I learned alot from him. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace. C164.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Sean. I served with Sean on Unit C Store Street, he was a great policeman and a real decent fella.

I am very sorry to hear of Seans passing. I have the pleaure of working with Sean for a short period some time ago. He was a quite gentle man with a fantastic sense of humour that brought many a smile to our day.

Sincere sympathies to Edel, Grace and the entire McLaughlin family. I trained with Sean and we started in Store Street on the same day in June 1993. We spent many hours walking the beat together in the North Inner City and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Sean was great company and we shared many interests. He helped me work on my car and he was the one who finally got it running properly after months of me trying without success. A great guy, may he rest in peace.
