To Margaret, John, Maeve, Hugh Brian and to all the extended family. So very sorry to hear about Sean's passing. I have fond memories of the Christmas masses in the Regional, back in the day... when we would all meet up after mass for a cuppa in the canteen with Sr Ciprian and Sean would be telling his latest jokes. I will always remember him for his great sense of humour. We were also fortunate that he introduced us to the beautiful Castlegregory, the Anchor Caravan park, to cards and to fishing! Thank you Sean and Margaret for your amazing friendship with mum and dad over the years. May you rest in God's Peace Sean.
Sad to read about the passing of an old schoolmate from Sexton St. CBS. I remember Sean very well. He was a real nice fellow to know and have as a schoolmate. May he rest in peace.

I'm sorry that I cannot be with you but I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Jim (R.I.P) and I loved our trips to Castlegregory so much in the years gone by and also to Carraig Drive , we had so many laughs and chats that will remain forever in my memories. We are so saddened by Sean's passing.Sean was a pure gentleman that was always mad for the chat with a wide knowledge of so many things. He was always so kind to us when we visited Carraig Drive as kids and also as adults when we called to see Sean and Aunt Maggie and our cousins in Castle Gregory. We thoroughly enjoyed the chats when we met him as he had a great love of dogs and wildlife so we had something in common. Aunt Maggie, John, Maeve,Hugh, Brian and extended family we are thinking of you all at this difficult time and pray that you will find strength in the coming days to get through this heartbreak. Sean leaves behind wonderful memories so I'm sure he will live on as the legend that he truly was. Rest in peace Sean forevermore 🕊️❤️.

Our sincere condolences to Margaret and the whole McDermott family. We have very fond memories of Sean from the anchor and Hilltop Drive. From strategic plots for trout in Glenteenassig, to visits to say hello to Bruce, Christmas Eve gatherings, and the artful bluff of a terrible poker hand- Sean was always willing to answer our silly questions and even more willing to embellish the answers to leave us with more!
