Sean was a thoughtful, kind and generous man in both his professional and charitable matters. He always had a warm welcome for everyone and during the time that I worked with him in Rathmines he was a wonderful employer. Our sympathies go to his family and staff at this difficult time.

Sean was one of the 'good guys'. Always with a chirpy smile and a great 'one liner'. It was always a pleasure to play a round with him in the Sunday Golfers in Royal Dublin Golf Club where he will be remembered fondly by us all.

Sean was a lovely man and have known him since i got my first mortgage back in 1980 and was meant to go back to him with my deeds after many other mortgages since. I later became a Godmother to their daughter Aideen. I have very fond memories of joining in the singing at the Abbey Tavern Howth with Sean and Deirdre during one of Victor's and my many visits to Dublin when a great evening was had by all. He made quite an impression with his musical skills.

He was a true gentleman with a great sense of humour and wit. Having practiced as a Solicitor in Rathmines since 1977, he has been missed since taking ill and will be missed in future. His children and grandchildren, whom he spoke so fondly of, were his pride and joy. Rest in peace Sean.
