I am Sean's younger sister, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone, work colleagues, neighbours etc who came to Sean wake and funeral. It was a great comfort to me as his sister to hear about his working life and to know he had friends in Macardle Moore who remembered him to the end.
Sean lived his life in his own way, he did not welcome visitors to his home, but he enjoyed a drink with people when he met them out at different pubs etc.
We his family, Marietta, Raymond and myself Hilary would have liked to have been more involved in his life but we respected his wish that he remain private.
I have happy memories of us as children, I hope he rests in peace and is now in a better place.
Hilary Piper
My deepest sympathy to Sean's brother & sisters & extended family.
He was a good friend & work colleague for 30 years.
He may be gone now, but will never be forgotten.
R.I.P. Sean.
