Sean McINTYRE

Sincere sympathies to all of Sean's family on their sad loss. He and his family were so kind to me many years ago as a young Irish girl so far away from home. Stepping into their home was lovely because you instantly felt the shared bond of all things Offaly and for that I'll be forever grateful.

What a legend Seán was; an ambassador of the highest order for Offaly and Ireland in Australia... his great send off reflected this. We’ll always remember the warmth of welcome to us in 2009... Seán was a busy man promoting Melbourne Shamrocks & many a backpacker hurler in Melbourne like myself will be forever grateful for this passion (some of which included countless trips of Seán ferrying lads from Train stations to training ground in his pick up!) We know Seán will keep up the craic & hurling chats in heaven. RIP Seán.
