Sean was quietly proud of his success at UCD. I sat beside him in 6th year. I tried to lead him astray taking him to Tolka Park but he remained true to his roots. We will miss him at our reunions.

My Sincere Condolences to all of Sean's Family. He taught me an awful lot working together in Laois County Council and was a role model to everyone. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

I was at school with Sean in Colaiste Mhuire and liked and admired him greatly. He was one of those rare men who, no matter what happens, is strong and straight within himself. He was a gentleman.
