I was saddened to hear of the loss of Sean he was such a lovely man and known by so many and he will be sadly missed by all that knew him. When I lived over the toy shop we used to have many chats he was a great neighbour. If times were different I wanted to visit him in hospital for a chat but unfortunately no visitor's allowed. My deepest regret to Sean's family and huge amount of friends. Rest in peace Sean you were a gentleman 🙏🙏

Séan often used to recite to me how much as a child he looked forward to going to my grandmother Bridget Crowley (his mothers aunt) nee O'Sullivan, Ahagouna, Durrus and her sister Mrs Burke, Coomkeen And the time the family were caught in the mist taking the shortcut over the hill from Crottees to Coomkeen. He won quite a few prizes in the Bantry Agricultural Shows in the 1940s for fruit and vegetables. I think he enjoyed his years in Youghal. Sadly missed.
