Deepest sympathies to the O’ Flynn family. I remember Sean was incredibly generous with his time, passing on his knowledge of fly fishing to us younger anglers many years ago. He thought me how to tie flies with great patience below in the hall. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Always a warm welcome from this mighty man and great chats about current affairs would be had. Sean was a great dad, and a valued and much respected community man, who lived life to the full.

He has left a great legacy, and his kids and grandkids can take great pride in what he achieved in his 88 years on earth.

I had the great pleasure of being on many walking trips with Sean over the years.
One special memory is being seated with Sean on a very long air trip after climbing Killimanjaro in Africa.
We sorted the world out that day over more than a few celibratory beers.
