Sean will be sadly missed on the Howth Road a Fantastic Neighbour and Friend.
To Sinead, Finin, Triona and all the extended family,
So sorry for the loss of your Dad. It was lovely to hear all the tributes to him on the radio on Sunday. He had a wonderful life and leaves lots of nice memories for so many people. May he rest in peace.
Elaine & John xx

Sorry to hear that Sean og has departed from us and that he'll now be reading the Heavenly results every Sunday night, may he rest in peace. My late mother Shelia Devitt who died in 2007 aged 95 years always exchanged Christmas cards with Sean og. I kept up the tradition and only recently dropped in a belated card to the house together with extracts from the Acorn. 1960 -1966.
RIP Sean Og great memories of the Sunday night programme on Radio one
May we offer our Condolences to you.
Seán Óg was a true gentleman and will be missed by his neighbours on the Howth Road.

Slán agus beannachtaí Dé leat, a Sheáin. With deepest sympathies, Sean.
Is mór liom bhur mbris. Do bhí a ghlór binn ar siúl gach Domhnach agus mé ag faire amach do mo chlub i mo bhaile dhúchais. Nach oraibh a bhí an t-ádh go raibh sé agaibh chomh fada seo. Samhlaigh na comhráití ionacha a bheidh aige anois ar neamh. Codladh sámh i measc na nGaeil aige.
Sincere sympathy to the family.I have many memories of listening to results on Sun nights in Manchester in 1970's to hear if my local club won and learning the names of clubs from all over the country.R.I.P
1950, i bought my first referees outfit from his shop in talbot street and we remained friends ever since
