Sincere condolences to Joan and family on Seán's passing. He was a lovely man and great friend from the past. Seán was the last one of the Kilkee gang who met up regularly in Dublin in the 60's and 70's from which I have great memories. Alas all gone now 'ar shlí na fírinne'

Sean was a wonderful friend and neighbour. A true gentleman, kind and funny and he had a good word for everyone he met. He was kind and generous with his time. Over the years he and Joan were extremely supportive of neighbours and friends.

We had many a laugh over the years, especially this last summer when Clare beat Cork in the All-Ireland hurling final. He watched the replay repeatedly with great joy.

We will miss him dearly on the road.

Seán was a lovely and kind man, and the best neighbour who always looked out for people and helped others.

We were lucky to have Seán and Joan and their family next door. I remember one night when my parents and brother were away and I was working a night shift. I came home at midnight and had a bad feeling when I entered the house. A few minutes later Seán knocked at the door with Meff the dog. Meff had been barking in the garden and Seán brought him through the house and Meff chased a man out of the back garden.

Seán had time for everyone and I was always enjoyed chatting to him. He was so kind to our family. Thinking of Joan, Liam, Cathal and Ruarí.
