I was so sad to hear of my school principals Sean’s death. What a lovely man. He was kindness personified and saw only the good in all he came in contact with. The staff and children loved him and I loved when he came into my classroom on a message and he could give the next hour doing maths puzzles with the class. I was devestated to miss his funeral as my own mothers funeral was on the same day. What a lovely man… gone too soon. My sincere condolences to Rita and his family.

Sincere sympathy to Rita, Cormac, Deirdre, Aoife and the extended family. Fond memories of sharing flats with Sean(and Stackey) in Rathgar/Terenure in the 70s and togging out with Clans. A loyal friend who always saw the good in people and was never heard to speak ill of others. He went on to become an outstanding Principal, a brilliant football/life coach and a caring/loving husband and father. Blessed are those whose lives he touched.

Our deepest condolences to Rita, Cormac, Deirdre and Aoife. We were very sad to learn of Sean's passing this week. We have such great memories of the last time we were Ireland and caught up with him down in Galway. He was always great to chat and have a laugh with and some of my happiest memories where for playing on the teams he coached. He not only thought you football skills but life skills as well and took the time make sure you were learning both skills the right way. His loss will be deeply felt in Leixlip but also all across the world for those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Our hearts go out to all the family as we know his loss will be keenly felt by you the most.

It was with the greatest regret that I heard of the passing of Sean, he was a lovely man with a great knowledge of sport and how to achieve success. I always enjoyed meeting and talking about the events of the day, he is a massive loss to the sporting world, but most of all to his family.
