Seán was an absolute gentleman. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Very sorry to hear( abroad) of Sean's death.I knew him for decades, both in the Department of
Finance and from elsewhere. He was a man of absolute probity and was of great assistance to
the NTMA,even after his retirement. He was very widely read and a highly entertaining
conversationalist .Society is the poorer for his passing.
Saddened at the passing of Sean. A gentleman, a fine public servant and a good colleague. May he rest in peace.
So sorry to hear of Sean's passing, I only came to know Sean in recent years, he was in the room next to my Mum in Benevin House, a lovely gentle man, may he rest in peace
Very sad to hear that my cousin Sean has died. Remembering his intelligence and gentle wit.
On behalf of our school community I wish to extend our condolences. Seán was a past pupil of our school and served as a valued member of our Board of Management. The public service that he gave throughout his life should be long remembered and appreciated.

Very sad to hear that Sean has passed away. I knew him through a shared interest in birdwatching from the late 70's / early 80's and it was always a pleasure when our paths crossed, a true gentleman in every sense of the word. My condoleances to his family and friends.
