Deepest sympathy to Bernie and the Potts families on the death of Sean. A truely genuine great person who will live on forever in people's memories.

Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam dílis.
Cóbhrón le clann Sheáin. Ba fear uasal, groíúil agus flaithiúil é Seán a thug a chud ama agus a chuid ceoil go fonnmhar do chách. Chaith sé chomh maith céanna le gach a tháinig i dteagmháil leis idir óg agus aosta. Laoch ar lár daoibhse a chlann agus dúinne a thréad éisteachta. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé.
Deepest sympathy on the death of Sean. Sean was a colleague of my late father in the Dept of Post and Telegraph many years ago. I have a very clear memory of Sean taking the tin whistle from his pocket and effortlessly playing a tune to the car engine as he diagnosed the problem with my father's car. Once the music stopped the repair commenced in a transition that was as seemless as the music!! A very kind and friendly man. I am sure you will miss him greatly.
liked meeting him great man
Deepest sympathy to the family of Sean, he was an inspirational musician especially to us whistle players.
Frank Cassidy, Ottawa, Canada
A great musician has left us, thanks for the music Sean.
Comhbhrón ó chroí. Ní raibh deis agam labhairt leat, a Sheáin Óig, sa séipéal níos túisce. Óráid iontach uait féin. Bheadh sé an-mhóralach asat. Frank (mandola, sna 70's- 80's.) Go ndéana Dia trócaire air.
My deepest sympathy to you all on Sean's passing. Apart from his music and talent, he was a lovely man, always friendly. I'm sorry I'm not able to be there. Ar dheis Lamh De go Raibh Se.
Deepest sympathy to the Potts family on Sean's passing. May he Rest in Peace
My deepest condolences to you all on the passing on (to better pastures) of Sean. He was a wonderful talented man. He was so kind & unassuming. I worked with Sean many moons ago in Dept of P & T.
RIP Sean.
Slan leat, may the sound of the whistle lead you home.

Margaret Walsh
To Bernie, Sean Og, Cora, Sorcha, and Ultan,
We were so saddened to here of Sean's death. He was such a nice, kind, quiet, and talented man and he will be sorely missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting him. We are thinking of you across the miles and praying for comfort for you and all the family as you come together to celebrate his life. You have our deepest sympathy.
Rest in peace
Comhbhrón ó chroí ar bhás Seán. Deepest sympathy to Bernie and the Potts family, on the sudden passing of Seán. He was a true gentleman and will be greatly missed by all at Aifreann as Gaeilge, in church Street. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
Off to have a few tunes with Paddy Ban and Dessie O Connor. You'll keep them on the straight and narrow. Pleasure to have met you.
