Seán Redmond

Shocked to learn of Seán's passing. The fondest of memories from UL days and post-UL early days in Dublin. Work, travel and life intervened and lost touch, a matter of no little regret. A gentleman. Deirdre and family, you're in my thoughts. Codladh sámh Seán.

To Paddy and Jackie, to Sean's brothers, and sister, Evelyne, to Deirdre, Luke and James, my sincere condolences. Sean was a wonderful friend to me. I miss his giant hugs. I miss his sparkling smile. I miss his many visits to my home, the endless WhatsApp messages we exchanged and, of course, his Joe Friday Quiz. I miss being able to call him and ask his opinion on a matter or give asked-for feedback on his latest writing. I miss praying with him. I know you all miss him terribly too. He's safe in the arms of Jesus ❤️

Only heard of Sean’s passing last night. We were in college together and he stayed over many times with us. I can still see his smile and hear is laugh. We shared many good times together and it was with great sadness I heard the news of his passing. Bless the road the carries Sean

We were previous neighbours of Sean in Slane and always remember his smile and the lovely chats and kindness and such a good neighbour. We heard the sad news yesterday 15.08.23.
