Sean and I became friends through business. We grew old at the same time and the problems of old age brought our physical contact to an end, but we still kept in touch. He was a loyal and likeable friend and I shall miss him. My sincere condolences to his family on the loss of a fine man
My condolences to the Sheehan's on the death of a great man who I learned so much from & who trusted me with with his insolvency portfolio in the 80's at Kinnears/GT. We had great times together & I often think of those days with pride & much affection. Sean had the gift of mentoring the next generation like no other person I met since.
RIP
To my Sean, a great man, brother and uncle, for giving us all such fun times and loving memories to cherish. He had a great life which he lived to the full, surrounded by love. It was so nice to speak to Ann and to know he left us peacefully and in the way he wanted.
Slainte, Sean !

We loved Sean like a father, but this is more about the close and loving bond between our mum Maura and Sean. They were such ‘peas in a pod’, with ridiculous and wicked senses of humour, laughing their way through their many trips with copious amounts of alcohol and fish ‘n chips! It was like they were still teenagers, getting up to mischief and loving every second together, it was wonderful to see how happy they were. I’d like to think Sean and I had the same bond and how lucky I was, too.

I remember mum and Sean talked about their trip to America so fondly , especially his amazing trip with mum, to visit Michael in New Orleans. That was such incredibly special trip for them both and they talked about how wonderful it was and to be able see Michael so happy.

Sean was just the nicest, kindest, wittiest gentleman, loving brother and uncle for which anyone could ask. His passing leaves the biggest black hole in our lives but also the biggest smiles and fantastic memories for a life lived to the full, surrounded by all that loved him and we are blessed and so lucky to have known him.
Sean was such a witty, kind, loveable and incredible brother to our mother, Maura, and uncle to me, Gerry, and my family - Chris, Fraser

Sean had the most amazing zest for life, like Maura, and was so important to me, like my surrogate father, after my dad died. He had time for everyone; he’d often visit mum and us in England and Sean and I would have regular catch up’s over the phone, swapping anecdotes and stories about our families and putting the world to right with his witty humour and I’ve so missed that, more than I can say. He’d lost none of his humour when Sheila and I visited him a few months back, complaining about ruining his drink, diluting it with his gel, when lunching at his favourite watering hole, Finnegan’s.

Slainte, Sean !
With all our love
