I was privileged to work with Sean on multiple IDA Ireland projects over the years. He was a true professional and highly respected in both the construction sector and wider business community. To Rachel, Paul Sarah and wider Stewart family please accept my sincere sympathy on the sad passing of Sean. RIP.

I had the privilege of working with Seán many years ago on a complex and challenging construction project in North Mayo. He was a superb contractor, a clever engineer who brought innovative and constructive proposals to the table and always wanted to work collaboratively, in stark contrast to the prevailing adversarial approach of many contractors at that time. He was, above all, an absolute gentleman, and I have always treasured my memories of working with him all those years ago. My deepest sympathies to Paul and all Seán's family and friends at this sad time.

I remember Seán in the Jes -a few years ahead of me where he was held in high esteem. Later I had dealings with him in a professional capacity while I was Head of Development in GMIT and dealing with Seán on construction projects. He was always professional and most reliable.
