Sincere sympathy to his friends and relations. Star of stage and screen.
Sean loved the stage. Guest appearances with Ollie Kennedy and every group in the area. Nobody can take away his fifteen minutes of fame with Wogan on the BBC and his love for Joe Dolan.
Always a grin and a twinkle in his eye. Fond memories .

So sorry to learn of the passing of Sean and condolences to his family and many friends.

I have fond memories of him both singing at events and also his regular attendance to pay his respects at funerals in Mullingar down through the years.

Indeed on of Mullingars great characters, one could meet him in any town or village in Ireland or thumbing a lift along some road or other.His singing in our pub will never be forgotten, true to his name he created a great 'buzz'with his Joe Dolan's songs, thanks to Ollie Kennedy hed arrive by helicopter all dressed up in his white suit.Its said that too copy someone is the greatest form of flattery.Rest in peace Buzz

Sorry to read that Sean had passed away. I left a small National School in 1950 to join a class in St. Mary's that had twice as many students as my former school. Sean was one of a number of guys in the class with a very good sense of humour which helped us get through the day. Condolences to his relatives and many friends.

Wonderful memories of the Buzz arriving at our home in Granard many s a time full of divelment having a bit of dinner or a mug of tea depending on the time of day my dad owned the Granada ballroom so the Buzz was a regular visitor. Was Joe's number one fan . Condolence to all who cared for Sean I'm sure he made your days full of fun and stories.

May Sean rest in peace. An inoffensive soul who just lived for music and the dream of entertaining the crowds. I recall him walking down town in his tuxedo back in the 70s ( a symbol of how busy he was and not enough time to change after "big" gigs)
The 80s and 90s he followed bands around the area to preform Joe Dolan hits ...like at the Roadhouse with Limited Company and the Monaghans .Just a taught....RIP Sean
