It is with heart felt sadness, we have herd of the passing of our good friend Sean Ward. We first got to know Sean when the family came to Kerry on holidays in the 80's. Ever since Sean always maintained the friendship by way his annual Christmas card, with massages via Facebook. Sean called to see us 2 years ago while on a trip to Killarney. Reading through the condolences reflects on his thoughtful, generous and kind nature, to his family who he loved and the wider community where he lived. We send our heartfelt sympathy to you Ann, to ye Maria, Bernice and Sarah, brother Brian, sisters Ann, Fionna and Noreen, extended family, friends & neighbours in the wider community. No words are adequate in this difficult cross that you are having to carry and journey with, but we live in hope that Sean's living life and beautiful memories, of laughter and Love that ye enjoyed together. We thank God for, will help you to carry on in supporting each other as family that he was so proud of. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. May his gentle soul rest in peace with those who are gone before him.

Sean would always be first customer in the morning in shop( formally Staffords)to buy the irish news paper if i rem correctly, when i worked there. Mucked up wellies on after walking his lovely dog. I was so sad to hear that Seán had passed away. He and I were joint Presidents of Seapoint Golf Club in 2007. I remember him as a thorough gentleman, kind, thoughtful, funny and perfect for the role of President. A lovely, lovely man. Rest in peace, Seán.
