Seoirse Ó Dochartaigh

I loved the timbre of his voice,ths style of his guitar playing,the selection of his songs in Gaelic and his whole warm hearted character.
I took him over to Germany on several tours.
The audience just loved him.
Missing him sadly.
My deepest and honest sympathy to the family of this fascinating man and amazing musician and friend.

I will miss Seoirse. He was a lovely man with a beautiful attitude to life. His love of nature, Irish heritage,annd Irish History influenced many of his. His soft singing voice made him unique. He was a good friend. May his soul rest in peace.

We were very sorry to hear of Seoirse’s passing. He was an individual who had a culturally enriching effect on all who knew him.

I was talking to Seoirse, (whom we knew as George at BCAD) in Letterkenny in February attending a performance of Die Fledermaus, of all things. He gave me two discs of his songs. I cannot believe he is gone so soon. He made much of his life. May he rest in peace. My profoundest condolences to his family.
