I’m so saddened to learn of Shane’s passing. He was a beautiful soul, smart and funny and full of mischief. My thoughts are with his mother, family and all those who loved him. I hope he’s resting peacefully now x

So saddened to hear the passing of Shane. I have such great memories of Shane when we were younger, he had a contagious laugh. From the craic on the MacHale bus home from Beaumont school to our teenage years especially the summers. Thinking of the Ryan family at this very difficult time. Rest in peace Shane.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Shane. I first met Shane September 2003 in St Johns Film making class. I was a much older only woman in the class, and he was a gentle funny soul. Our paths crossed many years later under different circumstances. I just want to tell you what you already know. Shane was lovely. And I am very sad for his Mam, sisters & Brother
