Shannon Watson

I was deeply saddened to hear recently of the untimely passing of
Shannon.
My deepest sympathy to all who
mourn the death of your beautiful daughter,sister, and partner.
I had the pleasure of knowing both
Shannon & Eoin.
Shannon was a lovely pleasant, kind and respectful lady.
Always greeted you with a smile.
Thinking of all her loved ones and the voids she has left in your lives.
May she rest in eternal peace.

My heart goes to all of Ms Watson family and to Mr mahon. Ms Watson was one of the best teachers in athboy who brought a smile to everyone and had a positive interest with her favourite subject History. Ms Watson supported all students that she talked to.

My thoughts and prayers are and will always be with her family and to Mr mahon. If I had one more chance to see Ms Watson I would thank her so much as she helped me so much in the last 2 yrs in school

May Ms Watson Rest in peace and we see each other again. Thank you Ms Watson you can rest in peace and we will forever misser by your precious time with your students and the teachers you worked with.

Ms Watson you were my favourite teacher ever school won't be the same without your warm happy soal you were there for me when I had no one you took me out of class till I was ready to go back may you get the best bed up there until we meet again some day 🤍

ms watson was the nicest person ever she was always there for me when i had a hard time at school she was so sweet helped me so much durning my exams and i don’t know how i would of got true school without her

Condolences to Shannon's family - very sorry to hear. I worked with Shannon for a year. A pleasure always to bump into and have a chat with. I fondly remember her as a very soft spoken, kind, friendly, dedicated teacher who interacted with the students in a very positive and caring manner.

Truly saddened to hear of the passing of Shannon. She was a very dedicated, kind and supportive teacher. May she Rest in Peace.

I am deeply saddened as I write this.
Ms Watson was a beautiful young woman, inside and out.
She will be deeply missed in Athboy Community School, not only for the incredibly work she did, but for the amazing person she was.
She lit up every room she walked into. A true inspiration, encouraging, kind, caring and always ready to help, she was someone we all looked up to.

She went above and beyond to support others and had a way of making everyone feel at ease.
I will always remember her as the teacher with a warm smile in the halls, ready for a chat.
I feel truly grateful to have known her and I will forever strive to be even half as good a person as she was.

My thoughts are with Ms Watson's parents, her brothers, her partner Mr Mahon whom she adored and her many friends during this incredibly difficult time.
I hope you can find moments of comfort and peace as Ms Watson would have wanted. In her words as she used to reassure us "You'll be fine".

I am so deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Shannon. I have known Shannon as a colleague over the past few years, but I feel that I knew her for many more. She had a wonderful way about her. She was kind, compassionate and humerous and totally dedicated to the well being of her students. A truly gifted teacher who has made permanent positive memories in many lives young and old.
