I am so sorry to hear of Sharon’s passing. I spent 3 great years with Sharon in the Sculpture Department at NCAD. Sharon was a force of nature. I can see her in her blue overalls and protective mask welding in the studio. She was tenacious and never afraid of a challenge- for our degree show she created a huge steel structure that emitted heat via an electrical current. It was an incredible piece created by someone so young. Her work was intelligent, insightful and quietly moving. She was serious about her work but had a beautiful sense of irreverence and softness. She was assured and brave, I am still in awe at how deftly she moved from sculpture to computer programming. No challenge too big or small. I have such fond memories of meeting her in the pub and hearing about mountain running. Sharon was tenacious, brave and brilliant with a beautiful softness. I am heartbroken to hear of Sharon’s passing. Sending love to Sharon’s family and friends. RIP Sharon

I had the privilege and pleasure of working with Sharon while are was at BearingPoint. She was dedicated and diligent but also heaps of fun and was well-respected and popular within the organisation. Deepest sympathy to Sharon's family. I trained and raced with Sharon when she was a member of Donore Harriers. She was great athlete and a real team player. Last year during the first lockdown we reconnected and she supported me with a virtual fitness event I was organising. She was incredibly generous with her time and with her expertise in fitness. I was shocked to hear of her passing and I extend my heartfelt condolences to all her family members. RIP lovely Sharon.

I knew Sharon through my sister Alison and the few times I spent in her presence I always remember as times full of fun and laughter. She was a lovely person and full of mischief. Alison always spoke of the funny things she had done or showed me videos she had taken and your sides would just split with laughter. She was bonkers in the most perfect way. I am still reeling from this news. What a huge loss for you all and there is not much to say that can ease any of your pain. She was so loved. I think Paul’s words encompassed just how much today. Deeply saddened to hear of Sharon's death. I worked with her a very long time ago in QL. Despite a difficult and challenging work environment she was always so pleasant and upbeat. We can work with so many people in our adult lives and many we forget along the way. Not Sharon. She left a lasting impression. May she rest in peace.

So saddened to hear of Sharon's passing. Even on the days that Evelyn Cusack warned anything smaller than the QE2 to stay at home, Sharon would appear in the office with all the protection of a bicycle lamp and a helmet. A lovely person. Condolences to all her family.
