Very saddened to hear of Shay's passing. Though we'd met only so often, I remember him as an enormously likeable man, and wonderful company. (I can still hear that hearty chuckle!) My sympathies to all his family and friends.

Really saddened to hear of Shay's passing. He was always great company at work and on the golf course. The number of colleagues from Kindle/Mysis that attended his funeral is testament to the esteem in which he was held. RIP

I'm very sad to hear of Shay's passing. I so enjoyed his company playing in Powerscourt GC and often bumping into him in Stillorgan or indeed in the Millhouse. Shay always had time for a chat and a story, a true gentleman that I will remember fondly. He also always asked kindly about my sister Loretta Moran which was nice. RIP Shay.
