Shay was a great boss, such a pleasure to work with, so approachable and full of kindness to both me and my family, anytime there was a problem Shay was the man to fix it!

More than that, he was a dear friend, I will fondly remember all our chats in the kitchen, everyday was a school day and there was nothing that couldn't be solved with a cuppa tea, a wink and a smile.

Shay was one of life’s true gentlemen who was taken way too soon, he will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honour to have known him.

I was so very shocked to hear the news of Shay's untimely death. A chance meeting, with both Shay and Laura several months ago while out walking on the Carlingford Omeath Greenway, has given me a very pleasant memory to hold on to.

Shay, you have taken the lead on the Greenway to Heaven. Be sure to guide us as we make our way along the path.

My condolences to Seamus’s family❤️when I used to work in londis Duleek and my mother was out sick, going through chemo and radio he would always ask how she was. It always stuck with me even after I left. He was a genuine, lovely, thoughtful man. And one of the few customers I used to ask my mam about when she went back to work and I was so saddened to hear of his passing. May he in peace ❤️

I was shocked and saddened on hearing that Seamus had passed. In a way I'm happy that my clearest memories of Seamus are from our childhood, both in National School and then over at the the little Secondary School on the Barn Road. He was definitely one of the stars of any class he was part of; always full of life, good nature, laughs and great humour. When I think of Seamus, I always think of tears of laughter streaming down his face at another smart line delivered or prank approved of.
I am so sorry for your loss, Laura. His spirit will always be with you.
