Shay White

To all of Shay's dear family, I offer my sympathy and prayers for peace and comfort for you all. My daughter-in-law, Susan, my granddaughter, Mariah, and I met Shay when we made our first and only visit to Ireland in 2013, and found a true and special friend that day at Bru Na Boinne Visitor Centre. We will forever treasure the memories of that day with Shay and the memories since, through correspondence. He was a special man who was a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace. With love to the family,

Veronica, I met your dad many times when he visited San Francisco. He was a real gentleman. Funny, proud as anything of you and all his family, and a wonderful storyteller. Shay has being a popular member of our group for the last 25years at the Ceilis in Competions also in our Strawboys dancing at weddings.Shays singing , dancing and brand of comedy went down well at every function. In 2006 Our group was invited to take in an International Cultural Festival up in Malo in Sweden .There were cultural groups from 10 different Country's taking part. Shay was the star of our Show. Overcoming the language Barrier was hilarious. Music ,Song ,Dance and the fun we all had was enjoyed by all.
We all have such great memories of Shay ,
It was such a pleasure to have known him...
