Hi Anita,
Thanks so much for your message. I tried phoning your Dad's mobile after my Dad Brendan passed away, but I think he changed the number. There was no connection. And I tried his home phone number on a few occasions but there was no answer. My Mam often spoke about Emmy and Derek and her and Dad had wonderful memories of lots of happy times together, especially on holidays in recent years. Tell your Mam and Dad we were all asking for them and hope they are keeping well.
Best wishes,
Fiona Allen.

Myself and my dad were at Mass on Sunday in St. Agnes's church for Christy Clancy's month's mind.
We both were shocked to hear Sheila Allen's name called out. My dad Derek Farrell was great friends with your dad Brendan and Brendan was my godfather and my mam and dad's best man. They holidayed together in later life and when your dad Brendan died my dad was in Donabate and he did not know anything about his death to which he was quiet upset about and he drove up to where your mam was living and tried on several occasions to contact her by telephone, the only number he had for her and he never got to talk to her to offer his condolences. So on behalf of my father and myself, my mam and my brothers we would like to offer our sincere condolences for the loss of both your parents. We looked around on Sunday at mass but did not recognise anyone to approach.
