Dear Cousins - please accept my sympathies and condolences to you four and your extended families. It was a privilege to participate online in the dignified funeral of your mother Sheila. We meet on a number of occasions when I was visiting my sister Imelda (Durkan nee Carr). I will always remember her happy stories, banter and infectious laughter. May she rest in eternal peace.

Dear Sheila,
We only met once, it was 19 years ago when you came all the way to Orlando, Florida for my 50th birthday. On that same occasion, you met my mom, and the two of you became fast friends. She always spoke so highly of you and she grew to love you dearly. I was just starting to plan a trip to Ireland this summer and was really hoping to see you again. I hear that you had such a great personality and that you were a lot of fun to be around. I’m so sorry that I didn’t get to know you better. My heartfelt condolences to your family and friends.
