Dear Maria and the Costello family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Sheila’s passing. She, along with Manus, was a cherished friend of the Canavan family on Collins Avenue. I still remember when our daughter, just two years old at the time, visited Collins Avenue 20 years ago - she fearlessly wandered back to your house, drawn by Sheila’s gentle and kind nature. Over the years, Sheila continued to show such warmth, often giving thoughtful gifts to our daughter. May Sheila’s gentle soul rest in peace, reunited with Manus and Siobhán. With sincere sympathy.
