Jesus told his disciples shortly before his death on the Cross, "in my Father's house, there are many rooms... I am going now to prepare a place for you and after I have gone and prepared you a place, I shall return to take you with me, so that where I am, you may be too.
May Sheila now enjoy her eternal home with the Lord.
Our SMA community will remember Sheila for her many many years of support of our missionary work in 16 African countries.
We pray that Sheila was welcomed at the Gates of Heaven by the Little Flower, St Thérèse of the Child Jesus, Patroness of the Missions. Like the Little Flower, Sheila was a missionary without ever leaving her native place. And yet their prayers and concern for the Missions has seen the spread of the Gospel to so many parts of the world.
Sheila, please continue to pray for all missionaries and the communities they serve throughout the world. Rest in peace.
May your family be consoled by knowing that you are now with the Lord, whom you believed in so fervently all your life.

I attended many Connaught finals with Jarlath and Harry in Castlebar and Mary Jo would stay with Sheila and Josie while we brought Tommy to the match. Sheila got a match ticket for me in 1996?? when Meath drew with mayo only for Meath to beat them in the replay. Sheila was the most beautiful lady and I always remember those ladies laughing non stop when they got together. RIP Sheila
