Dear Dick,

The Lucey family in Toronto extend our deepest sympathies to both the Creedon family & to the Roberts family on your very great loss.

Sheila's passing was terribly sudden and leaves a void that cannot be filled. Yet, her spirit is with you still and with you will remain.

As you no doubt saw by the outpouring of love and grief these past few days; not only the immediate Creedon & Roberts family and the many family relations but also so very, very many dear friends of Sheila's have obviously lost a very special person in their lives.

It is hard to know what to say when one’s life partner, best friend and a very loving and very caring mother passes on so suddenly and so young but perhaps the following words will provide you with some small comfort:

They say that “the brightest candle burns out the quickest" and in Sheila's case we can also add that "death deals a heartache no one can heal but her love and her life leaves a memory no one can steal."

She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

“May the angels in heaven be waiting for her and may she sit at God’s right hand.”

Or as they say in Irish:
“Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam uasal is go mbeidh na h-Aingeail sna Flaithís ag fanacht lei.”

Again Dick, our sincere sympathies and prayers go out to you and all the family at this very sad time.

Le grá mór,

Jim & Margaret Lucey (Toronto)
