Deepest sympathy to all the family RIP. I remember Sheila and Dan at our home in Eskadour when I was young my Dad and Mam (Joe and Cecilia) were great friends.

It wasn't only the slices of apple tart in Coolraine Terrace that informed my view of Sheila but her constant good cheer and kindness. She really was a lovely lady. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

Heartfelt condolences to Maria, John, Gerard, Conall, Ann, Cian and Kate, and Denis and Edel from the O’Leary’s in Edmonds, Washington. We all wish we were in Limerick for Sheila’s reposing, funeral, burial and sharing of stories today.

She was truly a special and wonderful woman. She was an amazing Aunt and an incredible sister and best friend to our mom, Noreen. Although we are filled with sorrow, we are also uplifted by our amazing memories of spending time with Sheila. Her grace and kindness spread all the way to the West Coast of the States, as she was someone that we spoke of often and a role model to all.

The memories of our family travelling to Ireland and being hosted by the Healy’s for upwards of 6 weeks will never be forgotten – it still amazes us that Sheila was able to maintain order with a smile and a kind word, with 7 children running around Coolraine Terrace. Sheila will be missed for certain, but we take comfort in the fact that she will be gleefully greeted at the gates of heaven by Dan and our mom…. the tea kettle is on the stove 😊.
