Dear Nuala - I only just learned of Sheila’s passing today. I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember Sheila fondly from our time in Glasnevin Lawn Tennis Club. My deepest condolences to you Nuala, and to Sheila’s entire family at her untimely passing.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Sheila's death. My prayers and sympathy go out to Nuala, Sheila's mother who is a friend. Also to Sheila's husband and her children as well as Sheila's brothers. Sheila attended primary school at Corpus Christi, Drumcondra where I happened to be school principal. May Sheila rest in peace, and may her bereaved family be comforted.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sheila in Roches in 1996 and remained friends with her over the years. She was so good at keeping in touch and was very witty. I will miss her terribly, we went to the Galway Arts Festival Big Top every year for concerts and it is fitting that it won't be there this year while we are all mourning her loss.

I started work on evening shift Building 2 in Medtronic at the same time as Sheila. That evening shift were a great team and we were lucky to have experienced life with Sheila.
