Today, you celebrated the long and well lived life of a wonderful lady, Sheila Cummeen or Sheila Felix. I'm sorry that we haven't been able to attend.
Back in the early 1960s, Fr Scanlon gave us a very vivid description of what Heaven was like. There are many rooms in my father's house, he would say. Sheila will be looking for one of the least elaborate, but it will be a great place to visit and be greeted once again by Sheila and Felix.
To Gerard, Michael and Mary, your mother is now pain free and very much at peace, but she leaves behind a vacant space, and an empty chair that will take time to come to terms with. Our thoughts are with you.
