A great woman for knowing bus schedules and booking. tables at The Lazy River Cafe. Winding people up was one of her favourite passtimes and she was good at it. To all the Nolan family,

It saddened me to hear of the recent passing of ye're beloved Sheila and I offer my condolences to you all. She was a larger than life character with a big heart who shall always be rememberd by me for the role she played and sometimes multiple roles at my hotel on Dublin St. from the beginning in March 2000 until I sold it in October 2006. She was the rock that I leaned on at the height of the celtic tiger when staff came and went without a care but Sheila remained until the end and often coming in early without any prompt from me to relieve me if I ended up doing the all night shift so she was a true friend to me as well as an employee at that time. I was glad I met up with her for lunch about 3yrs ago when I happened to be in Carlow and a nice memory to have of her in healthier times.
