Shelly was the most positive person I’ve known. It was just incredible how her dealt with her illness. Never complained. She was an inspiration to anyone that knew her. Over the 30 years since I first met Shelly, she’s not just been my only hairstylist but she’s been a great friend and confident. Her house was always inviting with an open door. She reared four amazing children in Luke Alex Olivia and Robbie and she adored them. With Dave at her side they made a great team.

Sincere sympathy and condolences to Shelly’s children, David, her parents, siblings and extended family. I first met Shelly 30 years ago in Leonard's and have been going to her ever sense, no one compared to her as a stylist. Needless to say I got to know Shelly well over the years and enjoyed my monthly visits, we had great chats and gave each other a lending ear without judgement. We went through the ups and downs of both our lives over the years. From the beginning it was clear that Shelly loved her family deeply and after getting married and as her family grew she dedicated her life to her children whom she loved deeply.
What an amazing strong and brave woman Shelly was, she was beautiful both inside and out, she always had a smile on her face and had time for everyone. Shelly was true to herself and lived life to the full. I am privileged to have had Shelly in my life and to call her my friend, she will be deeply missed and always remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your whole family at this time.
