So sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Sherrill. Aria adored Sherrill and loved going to school to tell her all her news and to get a little sweet each day, she was so kind and caring to all the children in st.kevins and will be truly missed as she was such a special lady who always so kind and warm.

Trevor, Anthony and Andrea the 24th September changed our lives forever. You all gave Sherrill the loveliest celebration of her life for which we are all so very grateful and she would have been so proud of you all. Today would have been her birthday and should have been a special day for us all but just to let you all know we are thinking of you and wishing Sher a first heavenly birthday. I first met Sherrill when I was enrolling my daughter in 2020, her beautiful smile and warm presence left a lasting impression.

Trevor, I heard the sad news of Sherrill's passing while I was abroad, and wish to send you and your family my sincere sympathy on this tragic loss. So very very sad. Ken (Ethel's son).

Sherrill was such a kind person. She was a brilliant SNA to me and everyone in the school.

Sherrill was SNA in Laylas class from junior infants but we had the pleasure of getting to know her on our walk to her last year of play school not knowing she would be the first face Layla saw on her first day of junior infants her friendly nature and big smile drew you in from the moment you met her and Layla quickly formed a fantastic bond with herself and Ms Norton she would speak so highly of them everyday. She would come home telling me most days of the lunch her and Sherrill shared so I suspect she would tell Sherrill she didn’t like her lunch just so she could sit beside her and share hers. Layla was deeply saddened to hear the news of Sherrill and her school days and story’s won’t be the same without her. Thinking of all her family & staff of st Kevin’s at this devastating time.

Sherrill was my aunt, my confident, my best friend. With 10 years between us we grew up together. We had kids at the same time we lived life to the best. I loved her so much she wasnt just my aunt but my best friend. To Trevor, Anthony, Andrea im so sorry for your MASSIVE loss, she adored yous and never stopped telling eveyone how proud she was of yous all xxx RIP to my favourite person ❤️❤️❤️

Trevor, Anthony and Andrea, I am heartbroken for you at your tragic and sudden loss. I have so many happy memories of working with Sherrill in St. Kevin's. She was much loved by all the children, we regularly had to turn a blind eye to the sneaky sweets she dished out to her helpers on the yard! She loved our dress up days and made such a great effort with her costumes. She was a kind and thoughtful friend who regularly gifted me and my parents with candles after one of her trips up north. St. Kevin's will always cherish you Sherrill and you will never be forgotten.

Sincere condolences to Sherrill's family and friends on her untimely passing. Sherrill was an earth angel who has left a lasting legacy on all who were lucky to know her. When my daughter had a placement exam in the school last year Sherrill was very supportive, bringing in chocolate when it was over and assuring her she done great. Sherrill was carlas sna for 3 years in st kevins gns the bond that they both shared was very special. Sherrill always thought of ways to make the school day fun and interesting for carla and u never knew what mischief both of them would get up to. At one stage they where the weather girls this meant they would get to go out check the weather,play hide and seek and chat to anyone they met along the way. Covid arrived and everything changed but sherril made sure there was a weekly call with carla to have a laugh and a catch up on the weeks news and gossip carla lived for these calls weekly.
The preparation for communion started and there was lots of trips to the church sherrill and carla had practiced so hard on everything that when the communion day came carla choose to go up to the altar with sherrill for her blessing. Sherrill was so proud.
Sherrill was one in a million and as we look at carla we are proud to say that sherrill got to b such a huge part of her journey in primary school.
Sherrill always told me especially if it was a challenging day that each day is a new day so with that in mind i hope sherrills family and friends staff and pupils in st kevins find the strength to carry on each day the best they can.
Fly high sherrill u will never be forgotten.

My deepest condolences to you Trevor, Anthony and Andrea. Words cannot explain the impact that Sherrill had in our school on a daily basis. The children adored her, the staff depended on her and we are all better for having known her. Sherrill had an innate instinct for spotting the children who needed her support and built those children up in a way that didn’t draw attention or seek acknowledgment. Many children’s lives have been changed because of her. She was a legend, a lady, a laugh, a genuine friend and kind to her core. I feel lucky to have worked with her as she made me feel welcome and supported in the school, She is simply irreplaceable. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was truly shocked and very saddened to hear of the sudden and untimely death of Sherrill. I first got to know Sherrill as a wonderful Mammy to Andrea when she was a pupil in my class, and later as a warm, kind, and helpful colleague who always had a smile on her face and was always ready for a chat. Sherrill's passing will leave a vacuum in the lives of so many people that she has touched over the years. May she rest in peace.

My daughter Francesca Europa from St kevins always spoke about Sherrill and how amazing, kind and funny she always was. Sherrill was her absolute favorite person in the school. Out of the kindness of her heart Sherrill helped Francesca develop her northern Ireland accent for an acting part that she had and was always sneaking her sweets much to Francescas amusement. A Beautiful beautiful special lady! We send our deepest condolences to Sherrills family on this devestating loss xxx
