I was profoundly sad to hear the news of Shirley's passing. Shirley had only recently retired and I was looking forward to giving her a great retirement do. Shirley was one of the first volunteers in Women's Aid and I never had to worry about Friday afternoon because Shirley was there and Shirley could handle everything ,It is because of ladies like Shirley that Women's Aid in Dumdrun did so well. Shirley will be sadly mssed by all her friends at Women' Aid.
