I went to Secondary school with Simon, I didn't know him very well but remember him well. I am shocked and very sad to hear of his untimely death. My heart goes out to his wife, son and family. May he rest in peace.

I never met the legend. But I just can't help but feel for your Family with the untimely death. You had all your life ahead of with your new son and wife. I am in the motor circle and I've never seen so much sadness you must of being one awesome Guy and you will be sadly missed. My Thoughts are with your Family
I never met Simon, but I heard much about him over the years around the kitchen table from my nephews Jay, Gordon and their friend Daryl. He was obviously a treasured and much loved friend, they will always have wonderful memories of him and the fun they had. My heart goes out to all his family and also to his motor sport family. RIP Simon.

There is nothing that can be said to ease the pain of this loss. A true sportsman, gentleman, husband and father who will be missed. My sympathies go out to Deirdre, his son Rory, Peter, Margaret and Chloe. Thank you for the memories.
Words cannot express the loss I feel at Simon's death my deepest sympathy goes to Deirdre, his beautiful son Rory, Peter, Margaret, and Chloe. Simon was my friend, my little brother, and my adopted son, all rolled in to one when he drove into the lane, the place came alive.
